For every client, we donated an amount to Doneer Effectief.

Doneer Effectief selects charities based on evaluations from independent, scientific research institutions. This way, they aim to create as much impact as possible per donated euro. 100% of the donated amount goes directly to the world's best charities.

At No Dodos, we believe that all global problems deserve equal attention. That's why we work with clients and impact makers across diverse sectors and industries. And that's also why we chose to donate to all three impact funds of Doneer Effectief: 1) Poverty & Health, 2) Climate, and 3) Animal Welfare & Food Transition. The three top charities receiving the donated amounts from these funds in December 2024 are highlighted below.

Poverty & Health: New Incentives

The New Incentives anti-dehydration program combats child mortality caused by diarrhea. Every day, nearly 1,000 children under the age of 5 die due to the effects of diarrhea. The solution to prevent this is simple: providing oral rehydration salts + zinc to restore the body's fluid balance. New Incentives, known for their successful 'cash for vaccination' programs, is now focusing on preventing child mortality from diarrhea with this initiative.

Climate: The Good Food Institute

The Good Food Institute works to increase the availability of climate-friendly (animal-free) products by stimulating the development of alternatives, such as precision fermentation, plant-based, and cell-cultured protein alternatives. The goal is to bring products to market that are appealing in taste, price, and availability. Their program includes policy advocacy, institutional and corporate engagement, research support, and helping startups focused on alternative proteins to grow.

Animal Welfare & Food Transition: Dansk Vegetarisk Forening

This Danish Vegetarian Association promotes plant-based diets through knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and action. They build bridges between farmers, scientists, startups, and policymakers by focusing on shared goals, like sustainability and food innovation, rather than on differences within Denmark and Europe. By engaging in dialogue with farming organizations, they’ve opened up the agricultural sector to diversification without directly attacking livestock farming. This approach has reduced political resistance and created new opportunities for plant-based agriculture. It even resulted in a government incentive program for alternative proteins worth nearly €200 million.
